Paris

(Balmain Gorgeousness)

It's Paris Fashion Week and I am dying....be still my beating heart!  These are the last of the Fall RTW 2010 shows and tend to be the most anticipated collections, in my opinion they have not disappointed so far.  Let's continue with photos from Balmain.  Staying with the 80's theme that seems to be working for the brand Prince's 1999 was rocking the house and some seriously sexy clothes were shown.  I love this line and I'm glad Christophe Decarnin designs what he wants continuing the theme of short hemlines, large shoulders and gold gold gold.

(I'm still recovering from my overwhelming desire to somehow manifest the military jacket from Spring 2010, now I want everything from this collection.....I need to get rich quick.)

Dries Van Noten showed a wearable and relaxed collection that still carried an air of elegance and sophistication.

(OMG I heart this sweatshirt & skirt ensemble)

I could go on and on but I will leave you with images for now from Issey Miyake.  Designer Dai Fujiwara was inspired by the American Mathematics Professor Willam Thurston's "8 Geometries As Metaphor Of The Universe", funny because I've been on a "all of life is a math equation" theme myself lately.......

(Now this is some serious art, not sure how wearable it is but I love the geometry of it all)
