I love ballet flats!  These by Corso Como are sooo cute, they apparently fold up perfectly for travel and are comfortable, not like their counterparts that feel like cardboard, sounds good to me.....

Modern Retro Beach Goddess

This shot from German Vogue is rocking my world.  I love it for a few reasons, one being it looks modern yet vintage, like she's a pin up girl from the 1950s.  I also love the suit (even though it wouldn't make for the best tan lines I'd sport it for a day or two happily) and lastly I wish I was her laying on warm sand on a gorgeous beach, for some reason the sun has decided to leave the So Cal coast line (sad), I really hope it comes back soon!

I cannot express how thrilling it was to watch The Gates last night and see the vixen "Devon" in two of my necklaces! Then I almost fainted when I checked out ABC's website and in the "meet the characters" section I saw this picture of her wearing La Feem boldly.

Personally I have a huge love of socks, I always have and maybe it's because my feet are constantly cold so I guess I'm lucky to love them passionately.  Well, what do you know, it's now big news that socks are in for Fall 2010 (which I'm sure you are all aware of).  I feel like I've seen this look around for years, it didn't seem so "new" to me but I guess it's going full blast in the next few months so needless to say yes, I'm in, what about you??

Andy Davis

I've known Andy Davis for a very long time, he and his wife Ashley are like family to me and it's been so cool to watch him grow from a local surf artist to one who is at the forefront of surf art and its place in the world.  His work has been shown and sold in numerous countries, he's extremely popular in the US and a superstar in Japan.  Andy's art is full of soul and it's an authentic representation of living the California dream, he's also a very talented designer with his own clothing line Ando and Friends and has some of the cutest tee shirts and board shorts around. I always wear one really gorgeous family ring and once in a while I'll throw on a second for a bit of fun.  Recently I read that the multiple ring trend is upon us (I'm pretty sure Erin Wasson gets the props on this) and usually I'm not one to jump on such blatant bandwagons but after seeing this picture I might have to take a day and bejewel it up.......

Hair Trend -Side Swept

This look is a definite must.  I do a lot of side buns, pony's, braids etc. but will definitely have to take it one step further in the upcoming months and pull it all to the side.  Although the shot is from FASHIONTREND AUSTRALIA and that country is about to enter winter I think this style will translate nicely for the Northern Hemisphere's summer 2010 sizzle.

Bink And Boo

I'm in love with these petite clutches by the talented Bianca of Bink and Boo, I saw one live at the Rickshaw trunk show I met her at last week and gasped....so cute!  She takes vintage fabrics and laminates them which gives it an excellent vintage/modern look but the best part is there's a secret zipped compartment in the bottom for your phone and keys...genius.  She also has over the top adorable goods for the babes so check it out you chic moms and for everyone else I can't think of a better summer grab and go clutch or id/money holder for an oversize bag, I need one a.s.a.p.!

Lara Stone & CK

I was so happy so see these beautiful pictures of Lara Stone for Calvin Klein, it's refreshing to see her in something other than an extremely provocative pose....Don't get me wrong, I'm all for bombshells and she makes a great one but lately it seems like I've only seen her topless or almost bottomless and it's nice to see she actually has an incredible range with a lot to offer.  (Yes she's grabbing her breast but it's a sophisticated grab......)

Iman

I want to pay tribute to Iman who was honored June 7th by the CFDA with the Fashion Icon Lifetime Achievement Award.  What an icon she is, I've always thought of her as one of the most stunning models ever and she brought an ethnic allure to an industry that was in dire need when she first appeared on the scene in Vogue 1976. She has had a tremendous career as a model and as a business woman with the success of Iman Cosmetics and her clothing line Global Chic.  She is also an avid philanthropist donating her time to Keep A Child Alive and the Children's Defense Fund as well as the always stylish and cool wife to the one and only David Bowie.  So here's to Iman, thank you for being such a wonderful example of a model, business woman, philanthropist and wife, cheers!
