My friends and I certainly notice that for a growing up a beach girl I have very city style. (My friends who live in the city can't understand why I don't live there.) I've come to realize that in the fall/winter it's city all the way but come chirping bird season the good Cali beach life resurrects in me and I'm ready to flow a bit.
