The Mulleavy sisters have done it again creating totally unique and beautiful clothes for Fall '11. They were influenced by the 1978 movie Days of Heaven about two young lovers navigating their way to the Texas Panhandle to pick crops which created a very modern prairie look that ran through the collection. This style they captured might not be for everyone but these particular looks were my favorites and I found them to be refreshing and alive while paying homage to the past, not an easy feat to accomplish and they did so with true artistry and amazing craftsmanship. Oh and the shoes designed by Nicholas Kirkwood are divine.
